Biography
I joined the Laboratory for Smartness, Semantics and Security (S3Lab) at the University of Deusto in the year 2007. Nowadays, I am a research assistant at this group and my research focuses in the area of semantics, with special emphasis on information retrieval and opinion mining applied to on-line social networks and spam filtering. Besides, I'm the director of the Master's degree in Information Security at University of Deusto's Faculty of Engineering where I'm responsible for the subjects "New perspectives on spam filtering" and "Security in Social Platforms", and the Web Engineering subject at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in its San Sebastian's campus.
